I'm very interested in getting to know new people, in other countries and cultures and have a great passion for both mountain hiking and the sea. I'm a highly active person who loves sports and being on the road, but at other times I also need my quiet times to sit down and read a great book.
Even though I don't have pets right now, I love animals and get along well with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Several years ago I met one of my best friends while travelling - on an airplane. Since she lived in several different countries afterwards, I got to visit her and started appreciating the sense of 'local culture' I got from staying with natives rather than hanging around in hotels. By joining couchsurfing I would love to meet even more local people all over the world - and host people at my place whenever I can.

I enjoy showing visitors around the beautiful surroundings of my town, visiting Cologne or Koblenz and whatever else you may be interested in. Also, I think it's fun to cook together and learn & teach new recipes.
