About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My humble mission is to travel at least 4 continents of the world and live a borderless life. In order to achieve that, my current mission is to own lesser things and live less to be able to disembark at any point! As I'm extremely spontaneous :-)

ABOUT ME

2020 MARKS MY 8TH YEAR IN COUCH SURFING!

Brief history : I was introduced to Couch Surfing events by a local friend/traveller/lawyer/hiker who was living in the same building as me. End of 2010 to 2011. I attended few events only on and off but one Hiking Warerfall Event with 24 people blew my mind!

2011 I became honoured to be among the few who attended :-
*The Original Wednesday meet up at Reggae Bar (which was a huge 2 lot Bar with signatures by many famous icons on the walls)

I officially sat down and signed up as a member only in 2012 while I was in Seoul, Korea. I cannot speak Korean and really needed an English speaking friend. From the app, I attended the weekly meeting in Itaewon, Seoul. I met many locals and travellers who were so helpful. Ever since, CS became part of my life!

🎂The first event I organised was my Birthday at a Karaoke Lounge with Buffet food and drinks. Later proceeded to Healy Mac’s where I met so many kind hearted people. I felt CS is a family 💝
...................................

First of all I'm not 18! age is just a number...opps wait let me rephrase that "Age is just a WORD!" It's WHO YOU ARE INSIDE and what can you contribute to the world that seriously counts:-) I STRONGLY DONT BELIEVE IN AGE, GENDER AND COLOR. We are One. Learn about the human and build the connection from there. Try it! 🙏

I love all sorts of performing arts from music to dance. Being a dancer myself gave me the opportunity in the past to have performed in more than 50 stage performances. Type of dance : Classical, semi classical, traditional, folk dance, contemporary also abstract dance with props and face art. My first performance was 5 years old at Civic Center. I was casted and did a shoot as a background dancer in a Bollywood movie and appeared on TV3 twice. From there I was scouted for some modelling shows involving fitness and gym outfits, traditional costumes, wedding make ups and hair model photo shoots. While living in England for many years, I had the opportunity once to represent Malaysia at the Warwick Art Center, UK with a group of talented Malaysians for cultural Folk Dance and Dikir Barat. It was a very proud moment for me.

IM A REAL TRAVELLER NOT TOURIST. I TRAVEL THE HARDEST AND DIFFICULT ROUTES. Please try to keep the Couch Surfing Spirit genuine and pure. Due to SPIRITUAL lifestyle and several experiences I would like to clarify please note as per below.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR MALE CS : This is NOT a dating App. NO flirting. NO TOUCHY behaviour. NO sending me flirty messages or stalking me. I'm NOT looking for boyfriend, one night or lover here. Stick to TRAVEL context. Respect Women.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR FEMALE CS : I am NOT your emotional punching bag or therapist. If you had a recent divorce, dumped by a guy, you are actively bf hunting, don’t come pouring your breakup story to me.If you are NOT fit for hosting please get help to fix yourself first. NO BOYS Talk. These are REAL experiences I faced so please respect us as genuine travellers for our values, time and energy.

Challenges I face as a solo FEMALE traveller

Nightmare experiences Must Read
-While travelling Turkey I faced extreme racism even at the airport.
-In Brussels I was hosted by an Iranian women who was misusing CS to get boys after her divorce. She gave me a nightmare experience talking about her s*xual life and guys she is hunting on CS. If you don’t listen to her or say no she will kick you out.
-In Berlin I was hosted by a broken couple who appeared nice but was horror house. They keep telling me “they don’t like travelling” So why host?
-The woman wanted to walk her dog and took me to a park. She started talking about her intimate marriage problems with her husband and told me her husband ran away from the house twice. Scary!
-When I took a trip to Prague and couldn’t reply the woman’s messages as I didn’t have SIM card, they suddenly decided to throw out my luggage in less than 24 hours.
-Also in Berlin, luggage offered to be collected by another psycho man in his 50s. He volunteered to help through CS group in Facebook. This man whom I never met suddenly changed after collecting my luggage. He kept pushing me to go to his holiday home in Greece if I wanted my luggage back. I already been to Greece and declined politely...he didnt respond.
-My family was so worried and no one else in Berlin came to help. Until today I don’t have my luggage. He kept it.
-One so called embassador in KL kept using filthy sarcasm to mock me for years. He also used to send me flirty dms after midnight which I blocked years ago. One night I was meeting a famous food blogger, he suddenly appeared. We were 6 and he again started mocking me just to get along with others. At that moment, I told him to f**k off in front of everyone and us 3 walked out. I now blocked him on all platforms because he is a Bully! Bullying/Mocking women is NOT comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess what came first to my mind is the National Museum of Dublin where I witnessed actual dead animals preserved. Imagine seeing a real wolf right in front of you...so real..to realize it's not alive..wow!

Crete Island in Greece was absolutely beautiful. Thousands of tourists sun bathing...an entire club transformed to a foam party at night...I almost slipped while walking to the loo..hahaha! The local Greek desserts are so mouth watering..plus everyone is in a bikini so you need to be in one too haha!

Imagine tons of people walking out of Dortmund stadium after a football match with huge German pint glasses in their hands...it was such a cheerful sight! The next day I joined the carnival at the same stadium. Hugeeee!

Simon Show in Phuket was just so well done with props and colorful backdrops. From Tina Turner to White Girls! Crystal clear water...I could almost touch the beautiful planktons while snorkeling..

Imagine a 5 course Italian meal with wine..home made on New Years Eve! Starting with authentic mozzarella yummm taste still lingering in my mouth. Finally counting down the New Years with a house full of happy, cheerful and lovely Italians in Genoa dancing and cheering Feliz Anno Nuovo :-D Super!

Watching "King Lear" at the Royal Shakepeare Theatre at Stratford Upon Avon made my Dad proud. But most important was inspiring to visit the house where Shakepeare lived and wrote some of his plays. Inspiring!

I almost touched a sting-ray's tail while feeding it at the fish farm in Langkawi Island, Malaysia. Lucky I was saved by one of the caretaker, he instantly pulled my hand away. Pheeeeeeew! Went Eagle feeding after and crazy banana boat ride. Jet ski was cool but what completed the trip was the Paragliding. You see the whole island from the sky!

If you had an ounce of emotion in your body you will leave DMZ feeling thoughtful of what man can do to others. I'm not as tall as most Europeans but neither am I as short as Asians. I still had to crouch. The tunnel walk was extremely hard, dark, damp. My camera was snatched by one of the soldiers because I sneaked some shots of the North Korean Village. Thank God he deleted only those shots and returned my camera back. Phew!

Bali is breathtaking! Its like an island that makes you feel at home. Or rather a second home! I remember this pub called Mama's. Tryna trobleshoot where the gates or doors were. We realised they dont close its open 24hours! Yummm those german sausages and mash at wee hours so mouthwatering :-P

I travelled alone to see the Vatican City and Colleseum, Italy. Both remarkable sights! It's basically just 45mins walk apart. You witness Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountains,Piazza De Poppola, Piaza de Navona, Pantheon Quater and Travester Quater. A sight which deserves many pages.

Egypt is one of the most incredible country I have been to. I went there by chance and ended up staying for over 9 months or more than a year lost count lol . Historical and definitely a place I will visit again.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A)Cooking for hosts various and multiple dishes. However, I cook ALONE in silence. You need to allow me to be alone in your kitchen for 110% focus.
Some of my specialities are various curries, chicken curry, fish curry, biryanis, nasi goreng, fried chow mien, stir fries, spicy sambal or anything asian. I love to create. Its my pleasure.
