About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Win the lottery, so I can stop working and start travelling seriously.

ABOUT ME

I am rather impulsive, often do things on the spur of the moment, can also procrastinate seriously.
Enjoy helping others so really enjoy my job with children. I love the refreshing way children think and sort out their problems.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life, be positive, always see the silver lining. Also love the humourous sometimes ridiculous side of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm passionate about improving the quality of childrens' lives through good relationships with their parents. Just observing interactions between parents and children in our town centres and supermarkets shows there is a crying need for improving the nature of these interactions. I run courses for parents on building good relationships with their children using the skills we learn as play therapists, mostly parents are blown away by the impact these courses have on their families. Also I use theraplay with children and parents, which is another way of helping parents have joyful engagement with their children, using very simple everyday things such as straws, cottonwool balls, newspaper and ourselves.
