I am a student at the University College Utrecht, in Holland. I am originally from Tanzania with British heritage. Im very down to earth, like to have a good laugh and meet new people when I travel. I enjoy theatre and contemporary art, mostly like independent films but I do also like binging on bad chic flicks and tv series. I managed the student college bar for a year, and now work a few nights a week behind the bar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I am a student, I tend to travel on a low budget. I also tend to travel alone and therefore feel it is a great way to meet interesting people along the way, have residents insights into the area and make more friends from different places in the world.

Interests

I am a geography and politics major, therefore can't help but enjoy travelling and chatting about the historical and political contexts of different places. I enjoy finding different local artists, visiting start-ups in the creative industry, everything from the arts, films and theatre.
I am also a kitesurfing instructor with one year of experience, and am Padi diver master.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro & done the third world's highest bungee jump at Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa(216mt.)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach them some basic Swahili :) I am also a fairly decent cook, I can teach you some different local cuisines that I have picked up from all the travelling around.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have lived in Cape Town, Tanzania, the UK and now in Holland - I travel quite a bit everytime I get a chance to, I therefore feel I will never be lacking in funny stories or experiences from the different places I have visited.
