About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy california some more dammit!

ABOUT ME

I was born in Rosario Argentina, but grew up mostly in Canada and in the U.S. I joined couch surfing last year thinking that I would use it on my trip to Europe in July...but I ended up doing HelpEx at a farm in Dozza Italy instead. Still, I don't want to give up on the idea of staying on a total stranger's couch even if I was meant to be a farmer. I gotta try everything at least once.

I'm currently getting a second B.A. in molecular biology, and absolutely love it. I wasn't ready to settle for a boring office job. I would have loved to be a physicist, but I suck at math.

While I do enjoy leisurely vacations, when I do get an extended period of time I like to focus on productive experiences such as volunteering, traveling, or even taking a class in music or language. The busier I am, the better.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by the Golden Rule of treating others the way I want to be treated.

I also think people are the best resources for learning new skills and so I always try to pick knowledge from the interesting people that I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can only donate money for now, and even meet up with people to give them a tour of L.A. Soon when I get a place of my own, I will definately host!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Movies: Jurassic Park, Avatar, Princess Mononoke, Il Postino, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, American History X, Thank Your For Smoking.

Music: Classic 70's rock. I'm also a big fan of blues and bluegrass. For when I feel like dancing, any song with a booming bass and heavy drum beats works for me.

Books: The Elegant Universe, Phantoms in the Brain, American Prometheus, The History of E=MC^2. Generation T, The Life of Henrietta Lacks, Stiff: The Secret Life of Human Cadavers, Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex, United Fruit, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy.

T.V.: The Big Bang Theory, Raising Hope, Dexter, Arrested Development, TRUE BLOOD!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The fact that I'm alive and healthy in this day and age is amazing enough for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I would make a great Spanish or English language teacher. I enjoy all kinds of topics which is a blessing and a curse. For one, I can have a conversation about most topics from literature to the sciences...on the other hand, my vast interests keep me from actually becoming an expert in anything.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
