Music, Movies, and Books
These are some of my favourite movies but I am sure I am forgetting some amazing ones too: Annie hall, Schindler's list, Casablanca, Mi vida sin mi, Pulp fiction, Match point, Mystic river, 21 grammes, The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, The Shawshank Redemption, Garden state, The blind side, Le herisson, Amelie, American Beauty, American History X, Memento, Lola Rent, Amores perros. I also like some TV shows among which Friends is the absolute winner ;)
In literature, Gabriel Garcia Marquez is my guru, being A Hundred Years of Solitude one of my favourite books ever. I also like to discover new authors, such us David Nichols with his novel One Day, which I am sure will become a classic in a few years' time. Some Spanish books that I enjoyed very much are Los Renglones Torcidos de Dios, by Torcuato Luca de Tena or La Casa de Los Espiritus by Isabel Allende. Kazuo Ishiguro is in my favourites' list with his masterpiece Never Let me Go.
Talking about music, I can listen to all kinds of music, depending on the day and on my mood, from The Beatles to Manu Chao, Franz Ferdinand, Jack Johnson, Calamaro, Pereza, Amaral, or Paco de Lucia. I absolutely love the soundtrack of Amelie, no matter how much time passes it always makes me smile :)
I like to discover new indie groups suc us Vetusta Morla, the new Spanish group that I absolutely adore!
