Overview
About Me
Hey! I'm a Lithuanian living in Czech Republic, teaching English and trying to find my way back to design in hopes of contributing to building a more sustainable and connected world. Wandering, but not lost. I'm an open-minded, considerate and sensitive person with an adventurous spirit ready to take on the next quest.
Taking up new hobbies is my hobby! I enjoy trying out new things, meeting new people and attending all kinds of events. When things get too overwhelming, I retreat to reading, art and binge watching some TV series. I go bouldering or roller skating whenever I can and like any other person I love travelling, good food and music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Is there a better way of getting to know a place than meeting up and hanging out with the locals? I've met amazing people through Couchsurfing and I wouldn't change it for the "comfort" of a hotel.
Fun fact - I'm currently living in a flat I couchsurfed in a year before I moved in here.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm mostly a fan of electronic music, but I really enjoy listening to metal and rock music live!
I usually watch crime TV series, sci-fi and comic book movies, but definitely don't avoid a feel-good comedy or romcom when I'm having one of those weeks.
And although I've avoided reading in school, I've found out that I quite enjoy catching up with literature classics (George Orwell, Oscar Wilde, Ray Bradbury, etc.), psychology, thriller and science fiction books. Recently, I've been spending a lot of time reading books on design.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit a job I hated, packed my bags and moved abroad to do something completely different.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about the place you live in and what you love about it - I believe it tells a lot about a person and the area. Likewise, I can tell you what it is about Prague that made me move here. In addition, I'm pretty good at cooking vegan dishes.
