About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just living and enjoying life!!

ABOUT ME

Bit shy, bit crazy (the crazyness is rapidly getting the overhand :)).
Love the smell of rain and the sunshine behind the clouds. Deep in my heart wanna go back to the openness of a child, just saying what you think, singing and screaming without people staring at you :)

PHILOSOPHY

I've done a lot of thinking the last few years, and came the the conclusion "been thinking way to much but also to little".
I live to learn and explore, see the world through my eyes

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just had my first CouchSurfing experience!! Already attended a CS meeting in my hometown. Love the meeting that are taking place all over the world, such a great way to meet people, just to hang out, talk a bit and make new friends.
But now a really slept on a Couch! And allthough I am quiet a difficult sleeper, slept like an angel.....maybe an idea to just get rid of my bed :)
Had my first CS experience in Prague and it was just great, it's was a very nice way to feel less like a tourist and to be part of the daily life.

Interests

Just a quick list of some of my interests:
* photography. Was surprised by the way your look at the world changes after realy looking through a camera
* walking in the nature and cities. In nature to enjoy the surrounding and come to me. And in the cities to enjoy the people, just looking at them interact is beautiful
* jogging, realy have to sport more, love walking so why not walking a little faster :)
* daydreaming (a lot), yeah what can I say about that.
* discussions but mostly with people I know better. like I said before can be bit shy in the beginning
* learning from people. Isn't that what's live is all about. A constant journey of learning from eachother

I hope to expand this list through meeting other people. I think thats the beauty of an open mind (and I hope and think I have that) :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, depends on de mood I'm in but left the pop-fase far behind me and now it's mostly jazz and 'world-music' I listen to.
Books, love them. Should every house have a bookcase. My dream a (what I call) Old English bookcase, you know, dark wood and ladder. First thing I look at when I'm somebody elses house are their books and photo's, tells so much.
But have to admit I'm not reading to much at the moment. Don't have the easyness (is that a normal word?, well I think you know what I mean) to sit quitely on the couch. And for the next years it's gonna be law-books I'm reading

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been paragliding, rafting and on a kano-trip on a river with crocodils in Nepal. But this all can not compete with the feeling I had during the trekking in the Annapurna. A trekking of 6 days (a baby-trekking but for me giant experience), and all you see are people, donkeys, buffalos and a beautifull country

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Nepal, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands
