Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since i left my parent's place, I use to lived in shared flat. Through these beautiful experiences, I met a lot of great people and learn a lot about life and myself. I also build a lot of long term friendship and amazing relation that still makes me feel great everyday in my life.
I think it is really important to share a lot with the people around us, because we have a lot to give and to receive from each other.
Through all these meetings I build myself, my private and professional life, all the way I have been taken was shown to me by the people I met.

I decided to get on couchsurfing because I think it is one of the best opportunity our time gave us to travel and to met people in the same time.
I love travelling and discover new world, and cultures, and I think the nicest way to do that comes from meeting local people and exchanging with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up with a poor musical background from my parents, so i had to build it myself. This means I had to lose myself into everything to discover what will feed my personal way.
So from Avril Lavigne at 15 years old, i slowly get into rock music, punk, glam punk, rockabilly and the Cramps ! From this i calm down and get into the indie world, which bring me to good old school classik name of band and music artist of the world. From Jamiroquai to fugees, passing by mathieu chedid (M), Radiohead ... etc

Then big evolution was 6,7 years ago when i went to berlin, and put a feat first, then my hole body, into the electronic music, techno, house, ambient, world. This experience learn me that music comes from everywhere and I now just enjoyed everything that pleases my ears and my heart.

I have always been in love with cinema, film, tv shows and videos, with particular tastes for tarantino, almodovar, luc besson, tim burton, woody allen, jim jarmusch...

I also love to read, even if it ask me more time to do it as I would like. However most of all the book I read touched me a lot. The last I loved was " fragment d'un discours amoureux" Roland Barthes, and "j'irai cracher sur vos tombes" from Boris Vian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the Greatest thing i've done, happened when i arrived to get into the study and the school that was meant for me. My passion is art and design. And i feel lucky that i could express this passion and turn it into my life and work.

The last years of my 5 years school, as a final graduation project, i made a project with and for the homeless population. It was a gastronomic and social dinner open to everybody, on the public space in a city. Called A TABLE RONDE (http://sandrinemazan.com/A-TABLE-RONDE-01), this project made me realize that i can do good things, even through my work, and do something for the community and the people we are evolving with in the everyday life.
This made me feel great and happy about human life, and people in general.
