About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make a living on what I truly love which is photography and arts.

PHILOSOPHY

Trust, patience and friendship.
I believe that this 3 words express what I'm truing to do in every day of my life, sometime failing and sometime making it.
I find this 3 words to be in contrast with what society teach us, which is more: Don't Trust, I want it all and now, and business.
But the true gift of life is to manage to respect and accomplish those 3 meaningful and fulfilling words.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted 2 guys on a bicycle in Kazakhsatn on behalf of another couchsurfer who actually introduced me to this world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like indipendet crazy travellers. Crazy in the sense that they travel very far for long time on non conventional means of transport, like crossing india on a canoe. I never tried to surf myself I've only given my couch to 2 surfers.

Interests

Travelling, Photography, music, cinema, reading.

I traveled extensively through the last 15 years, backpacking in south east asia, exploring new york williamsburg before it became Willamsburg, drive around Europe from Italy to Turkey, From scandinavia to Italy, From Spain To I tally. I love long driving trips. I travelled in middle east and sailed the mediterranean on various occasion. And lived in Kazakhstan for about 2 years where I was offered several times testicles of sheep to eat (yuk).

Photography is my way to interact with the world, to get to know people and places. I love to give away photographs wherever i go.

I used to be an avid record collector, but lately being more nomad I rely more on spottily and digital things. I like folk, electronic, rock, songwriter, reggae. Many different styles. If I have to name few artists that have been with me the last 20 years I would say Beck, A tribe called quest, Devendra Banhart, Beatles, Fela Kuti. If yo ask me tomorrow I might come up with other names though.

Yoga. I've been practicing since 2000, many years of high intensity and frequency alternated with years of less frequency, but it's something is going to stay with me forever.

Walking, walking, walking...... I walk a lot. I love exploring new places walking, especial suburbs. Also I love to repeat myh favourite walks where I live. I love to walk in between nature and man-altered landscape.

Bookmaking.
That's my last growing passion, I made photo books, self edited, printed and bonded in different styles.
