About Me

CURRENT MISSION

smile

Hi all!

Please, i’m no more an alcool guy.. i need all my neurons working in order to graduate!!! so don't bring me wine, beer, or whatever... please please please XD

I love chocolate instead, but I am very concerned about exploitation.. so I really appreciate if anything you like to bring is fairtrade (chocolate, coffee, bananas, if they are not ft you can be sure they are hurting the planet and other human beings) and sustainable.. so please if you do bring vegetables try going on season ones (a.e. no tomatoes, peperoni or courgettes in the winter time XD ).

I am basicly vegan on my daily life.. but not really, more vegetarian… but again sometimes I do eat meat and fish.., I like to buy them knowing where they come from, as for everything else, trying to be sustainable and fair. I am me and am not fond of fundamentalismssss

Useful things for the house are toilet paper (please if you can go for a sustainable one) and anything you might notice is missing during your stay.. so please feel free to buy stuff for the house;)

I will be really thankful for your concern if you do help in the house by keeping clean, differentiating garbage and throwing it away if that's the case!

Addendum: if you are couchsurfing you are not going to be in a hotel. I will for sure do my best to put you at ease and make you feel at home, BUT as i hope has become clear if you took the time to read through, I do have a life… and now a little baby girl too. . and can't stress this point enough. Currently I am really studying a lot, thus I have very little spare time and can't host parties at home.

That is to say I DO ASK flexibility!!

It also means it is your concern to keep in touch with me and make sure you read my txt that are usually on whapp because I DO make sudden changes in my plans, and WILL tell you as soon as that happens, but I WON'T change my life because i am hosting you. If I want or have to do something I will!!

and you will have to adapt to that… sorry mate ^_^

Being it me out for dinner or an icecream with some friend or being it some other couchsurfer dropping in.

Full stop.

I do have spare keys i will share with you if i feel comfortable.. i had few bad experiences and have learned from them. Don't take it personally if i decide not to.. please!
-

As a general rule for time management, i have busy days that start early and being human I need to sleep at night.. if we don't agree together something else a this basicaly means no messing around or cooking after 23.00! But again if I have night shifts it’s different XD

We will probably spend time together at home and i really love this, in fact it is one of the reasons i host! I love cooking, expecially for vegan fellows and mindful beings.
But all of this may not happen as i might just be really tired, please don't be upset if that is the case.

Addendum 2.0

Hey guys, you are travellers. Be indipendent, be respectful.

You are not in a hotel or bnb!!! I am not getting payed for hosting you.. aka even though i am happy to be helpful, I am NOT in any way working for you! Don't mistake kindness, and don't abuse it, please.

Open your eyes and ears for how the house works, follow the indications where you see them written, pay attention and be mindful.. this will keep my life easy and i will truly appreciate it.

Water is a precious good! so.. you can take all the showers you wish, but please be mindful about this and keep time under check.. warm water is expensive nowadays, so go for cold when you can.

I do care a lot about recycling trash and one thing that really does get on my nerves is when you guys don't pay attention to where you throw your stuff! !

Smoking in the house is NOT allowed but you may smoke outside on the balcony :p

If you are DRUNK you won't be allowed in the house and i will leave you out, litteraly. Full stop.

The house i share is the place i live in.. and my life is already busy enough taking care of myself.. and now my daughter.. So i won't clean after you and if i feel disrespected i won't think twice before asking you to leave..

Addendum 3.0
When i accept your requests, please do not forget to confirm them so i don't need to remind you to do so.
I will also ask u to write me a txt with your name on whapp to keep in touch and organize your arrival and stay. Please do so asap. If you do not write me on whap i will consider the fact you are cancelling your stay and will act accordingly! !

Please DO NOT ask me requests months in advance! My life is getting a bit unpredictable lately and i won't be able to reply or i could be changing my mind in the meanwhile.

IMPORTANT
Sorry guys, being a host is really cool and i love it as an experience but it can get pretty stressful expecialy with non cooperative guests. . This means i could be needing unexpected brakes to recover and keep stress levels low.. (if it is not a pleasure for me why should i do it?!)
I usually give good notice of this (at least a week) or if that is not possible and/or you can't find other solutions in the meanwhile I won't let you on the road.
To avoide this happening to others, please be cooperative surfers and be mindful during your stay! Clean after yourself and leave the house as you would like to find it.

Please.. i receive a lot of requests usually and often have to decline them.. if you want a bonus 1up in the choice, when you write a request start it with "Boooom" so i know you actually did read this.. ;)

So..
i've got one room I can share now, it has a big bed plus there is a couch and a camping bed for any added guests..

In the previous house we did fit 11 people in the house, but I won't be able to do that anymore, so basically 2 max 3 guest at a time.

But things may change.

Depending on the number of surfers /friends there may not be much privacy (except for shower and toilet of course XD) as the house is small..

When you are here, expecially if there are more people in the house, please keep the toilet clean and time in to the minimum as we may all need it ;) No shoes in the house, I can share flippers with you, but I really like a clean place, that is to say my home is not supposed to become a squat.
