About Me

CURRENT MISSION

do a motorcycle driver's licence, run 10km in less than an hour :)

ABOUT ME

Sun-lover! Can't live without music or laughter :) Want to see as much as possible and speak dozen languages! Well-organized. Blood donor. Will try grilled grasshoppers if ever visit Asia. Want to see an aurora. Hate changing sheets with all my heart. Will buy drumset someday. Have a little collection (19) of Little Princes in different languages :) Like green best. Start the day with white coffee. Consider totally reasonable going to Italy just to have an ice-cream. Get excited easily. Emotional, too. Enjoy writing. And rhyming. And reading. And other stuff. Opened an order-yourself-a-poem-site LRF some time ago.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end. Smile like you mean it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed couches of several people, whom I shall never forget, as each and every one is an unique person of worth.
I was kind of co-host while staying in Brussels for my Erasmus. Also, I used to meet Arek's guests and tried to treat them as if they were mine :)
And now.. I just started hosting on my own!

Music, Movies, and Books

music:Rock, definitely. Love drums live! ex: Kings of Leon, Kooks, Killers, Keane, Oasis, Him, Muse, Goo Goo Dolls, Placebo, Florence, Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay.. (oh, I can do it all night)..Radiohead, Kasabian, Jet, ZAZ, Selah Sue, BOY, White Lies, Snow Partol, The Cure, Joy Division, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, U2, Elvis (who's alive!), Michael (I loved him when I was a kid and it just stayed that way), Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra and his fellows, Roisin Murphy, Morcheeba, Jeronimo, Fun., Matisyahu, Lao Che, Myslovitz.. etc. Many soundtracks, too (Amelia, Garden State, Cruel Intentions, American Hustle, Drive, Great Gatsby, Blues Brothers...)
Recently I realized I really like blues, too. Maybe it's that I'm getting older or what?
books:
I generally enjoy reading and probably inflate country's average ;)
Le Petit Prince, than maaaaany others by: K.Vonnegut, T.Pratchett, C.R.Zafon, A.Dumas, J.Austen, N.Roberts, K.Hosseini, S.Lem.. and Harry Potter series, cause I grew up with them, Catch 22, cause it's so abstract, The Godfather, thanks to all possible emotions it gives you whilst reading, True Blood and The Black Dagger Brotherhood novels, simply because they're sexy. Oh, I'm on Goodreads, too.
CURRENTLY READING: "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy.
movies:Amelie Pulain, even if she's so unreal. Or maybe because of that. Inglorious Bastards, cause it could have ended this way.. Love, actually, cause it's sweet and heart-warming, Adam's apples, due to black humour I adore. Dead Poets Society thanks to "oh captain" scene. Recently Argo and Intouchables. And more. Musicals, comedies, dramas. And more. By Burton, by Allen, by Almodovar, by Spielberg.. And more. By Skandinavians, by French, by British. And more ;) Big Batman fan.
I don't like thrillers and sci-fi movies much.
tv series:Well, I'm kinky that way. Love series! ex: Friends, Ally McBeal, One Tree Hill, How I Met Your Mother, Veronica Mars, Lie to me, Scrubs, Entourage, Friday Night Lights, Grey's Anatomy, Glee, True Blood, White Collar, The Big Bang Theory, Suits, Game of Thrones, The Mentalist, Downton Abbey.
I don't have a TV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw:
Norwegian fiords. Huge rainbow. Rough Tyrrenian Sea. People smiling. Piano-playing stairs. Total darkness of Sahara's night, and brightness of northern Estonian one. Pink sky at dawn. Peaceful Himalayas. My knee from the inside during the surgery. Broadway show live. Harry Potter Warner Bros London studio.
I did:
Erasmus exchange. Parachute jump. Diving in the Red Sea. Slepping the night at italian/french/croatian/spanish beach. Swam in Atlantic (and Cretan Sea) in November. Drove the wrong-sided car in the UK. Made soap bubbles on highest spot in Athens. Was taken down with toboggan in French mountains. Drove a motorbike in India as in American road-movies: just me, Himalayas and the wind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn languages (including Sign Language), to play drums, to cook and bake, to dance tango & tap-dance, to surf..I can teach you how to make a paper ship, or a braid, and some jive steps. It's not much, but you never know what may come handy sometime :) I can also teach you some Polish, but only nice words! I can share smile, I have plenty of it :) I can share also music I listen to, books I've red, memories I have. I can share a sandwich if you're in need, too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
