About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Grow beyond my comfort zones

ABOUT ME

Hello!!!! This is my first time living in another country outside of the U.S. This experience will open my perspective and challenge me in ways that will only allow me to grow into a better person. I am overwhelmed by the community of people who are willing to open their homes to fellow travelers. Being a young college student, this will allow me to cut major expenses and most importantly, experience new countries in the most authentic ways possible.

I have genuine respect for everyone and I am kind, good natured and always willing to help, especially when someone agrees to welcome me into their homes:)

Also I LOOOVVVEE lemon tarts. It was so important that I had to mention it:)

PHILOSOPHY

I always aim to stay positive and to make the best of every experience that I have, I believe that one of the best ways to stay positive is to keep my mind open to people of different backgrounds and to be tolerant of different beliefs. Above all respect is reciprocal!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am studying abroad in this amazing city of Geneva!! I never thought I would be so far away from home and still be okay! Even as a sociology major, I have managed to be employed by a diverse pool of industries (law, marketing, architecture, engineering). I have seen it all in NYC, or at least most of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am like a sponge!!! I soak up everything that I learn, so I enjoy people who will grant me the opportunity to explore any aspect of their culture that they feel comfortable with. I am also open to provide any insight into any thing about my culture as well:)
