ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying, and thanks to my online program I get to travel long term to. I'm heading to Europe for the summer to teach, but have decided to make it a grand tour of Europe- going back to some favourite spots and discovering some new ones. I've bounced around a lot in order to find a passion. One day I realized the only think I've ever loved to do constantly is travel.

PHILOSOPHY

When I was around 15 I was sitting in a piano lesson that I really did not want to be in. I have this weird fixation with "The Importance of Being Ernest". I can't read it on the bus because I laugh to myself, and not in a cute chuckle way, in a "if I was drinking right now, things would come out of my nose" way. Anyway, I was in this lesson and I couldn't get the notes right, and my teacher told me to practice my accuracy. To which I quoted:
"I don't play accurately - anyone can play accurately , but I play with wonderful expression."
So my personal philosophy: live with wonderful expression.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm always open to show people around Vancouver! I know where to get amazing doughnuts, coffee and the cheapest beer. I'm pro at the transit system and will gladly sit down and explain it to anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every time I'm about to go on a trip I say "I will finally get the guts to do this." This time it's happening.

Musica, film e libri

I love books. I'm still not sold on this e-reader thing... Right now I'm reading The Godfather. I've been saying the reason I've not seen the movie is because I haven't read the book. Changing that now.
As for movies, I haven't seen many, but I'm always open to new ones.
Music? I'm really not to picky. There's something good in every genre.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

When I was in Rimini there was a big street party. There were fireworks at midnight. A bunch of people I worked with and I sat and watched them. It wasn't much, but it was a perfect moment with amazing friends.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can teach you how to knit or some basic sewing! I always carry thread with me, so spontaneous macrame bracelets are always a thing.
I can also, staying true to my Canadian roots, teach you how to make poutine.
