About Me
Ahoy there! You're probably wondering who I am. And since I'm a huge fan of organization and bulleted lists here you go:
- Went on a 3-week vacation to the Philippines and accidentally ended up backpacking South East Asia for 8 months
- Worked remotely in Medellin, Colombia
- Most recently learned Spanish and BJJ in Playa del Carmen Mexico!
- Worked in technology, urban planning, and marketing
- Looking to relocate to the Bay Area!
Interests
Solo traveling and being a short-term expat in foreign countries.
They haven't come out with an official term for what I am so I'm going to just call myself a Permanent Vagabond. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I alternate between soft pop/rock (like the stuff they play in TJ Maxx), R&B, Jazz, Movie scores, and reggaeton and country. But I appreciate all music and get giddy at the thought of being introduced to a genre that I haven't heard before!
Books: Currently 10% completed for my goal of reading 100 books this year. Never was a reader when I was younger. It's kind of like when your tastebuds shift from hating raisin bran to thinking it's the perfect combination between sweet, crunchy, and fibrous as you age... Anyway, I love books now haha. (Man's Search for Meaning - Viktor Frankl is my favorite so far)
Movies: I'm a sucker for any movie with following multiple intertwined characters/plotlines. I.e. Crash, and Love Actually, Sense8 (not a movie, but a great example). That's basically how I view life, a complicated (yet beautiful) web of interconnectivity. Oh anything Marvel, anything Star Wars, and anything with Leo, Matt Damon, or Chris Pratt.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fell into a rice paddy in Bali.
On my motorbike.
With my computer...
It survived, my pride didn't. :P
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to listen to people's stories. Sometimes I can just go for hours and soak up a person's entire life story. And if you're not much of a talker, I also love chatting about the latest podcast I listened to, or book that I'm reading, or weird concept that Elon Musk is getting into lately.
If I'm hosting, I love to treat folks to a warm homecooked meal.
