Hey lovely people!
I just revived my Couchsurfing account to find a lovely host in Barcelona for a couple of nights (24th May -27th May). I've never been to Barcelona and would love to explore the city from the view of someone local and find some of the hidden gems and hopefully make a new friend :) If you're interested I would love to meet you! ✨

(Just if you were wondering: I've stayed with hosts in Amsterdam, Paris, Milan and New York before. I don't have all the reviews since I was travelling with a friend and we used her profile for our stays.)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

A couple of years ago my friend and I visited Amsterdam, Paris and Milano and I thought we could try out Couchsurfing. I think it's a great idea to stay with locals and experience the cities from their perspective. I want to explore new cities the non-tourist-way and find the little special places the city has to offer. Additionally it's a great opportunity to leave your tiny bubble and learn to see life from a different angle. I've stayed with four hosts so far and it's always been very enriching to broaden my understanding of how different people live, think and just are. I didn't really get the opportunity to travel since and am really excited to revive my account. Also, I'm really hoping to be able to have the space to host someday.
For me, Couchsurfing is a place where we are creating the opportunity to meet people at an intersection of their individual life journey. People that we might have never come across if we would've gone about our regular life.

Intereses

I'm interested in many things and always open to something new.
At the moment I'm teaching myself guitar in my free time and work as a freelance illustrator. If I'm not making music I love to draw, illustrate and photograph or get lost in some series or movies, visit local markets and of course spend a lot of time with my friends.
If theres some time I like to do some sport. I used to play table tennis and go jogging in the forest.

Since I work for a music venue as their Graphic Designer I'm constantly exposed to new music, so my music taste is quite broad (with a strong base of Rock/Alternative music) and I also listen to a lot up and coming artists. But these are some all time favs that you might know:
Jeff Buckley, Last Shadow Puppets, David Bowie, Alexandra Savior, Arctic Monkeys (especially the album Tranquility Base Hotel+Casino), Muse, and many many more..

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Swabian cooking skills (or a big oven dish of homemade lasagne), mediocre guitar strumming and chats about music, design and illustration.
