I am a community organizer in the Internet Freedom community, which is the intersection of human rights and technology. I grew up in New York to immigrant parents, who came from Cuba and Spain. During the day I organize events throughout the world to bring Internet Freedom defenders together. At night I love taking care of my family and friends. I love open minded people that respect people from different walks of life. As someone who grew up tricultural, and in one of the most diverse cities in the world, I love meeting new people and learning about their experiences and culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning about new cultures, and really experiencing what its like to be in someone else's shoes. Meeting people is like reading an interesting book. Its such an honor to see, understand and celebrate what makes each person unique and special.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love 90s everything, and since i grew up in New York, 90s hip-hop of course :) However, flamenco and salsa are not far behind. :) I have to admit, I grew up on Coelho, and his Veronica Decides to Die is one of my favorite books. I also love scary movies and Halloween is my favorite holiday!!
