ABOUT ME

I am someone who wants to drink life to the lees (thats 2 quotes from Ulysses...no prizes for guessing my favourite poem) and I thoroughly enjoy meeting people, conversations over endless cups of coffee, the outdoors and traveling. I am an open minded, laidback, happy-go-lucky sort of person who is generally up for anything(though I am yet to come across anyone who describes themeselves as a narrow-minded, uptight doomsayer on this site). I am part dreamer, part philosopher and a failed cynic!
I have recently moved back to India after a sojourn in Italy and work for a social venture capital firm so I travel around India looking to make investments in businesses that can positively impact disadvantaged sections of society. I have met some wonderful people along the way who have re-affirmed my faith in humanity.

PHILOSOPHY

To paraphrase RFK and Bernard Shaw...Most people see things as they are and ask why..I prefer to see things the way they could be and ask why not?
I'm a person who strives to see the positive side of things(the kind who can find the bright side of a black hole!)

Has been great so far...met some wonderful people, experienced the warm hospitality of strangers, seen the places I have visited through the lens of others...I think that the whole concept is awesome!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a hair-raising evening wandering the backstreets of Naples with a fellow traveler who was equally lost without getting mugged!!
