ABOUT ME

Hello from the wine country!

I have been in Europe a lot and lived there for over 2 years. My first time was in Barcelona and the second was in Uppsala, Sweden. I have lots of friends all over Europe but am always looking for more.

I get along with people of all ages and all places. Most of my European friends call me "a very different American" I think that's usually meant as a compliment :)

If nothing else, perhaps I could meet for a drink or coffee and recommend anything you'd like to know about. I'm in Healdsburg in the heart of the wine country. I love to go wine tasting and I'd be happy to show you around our little town :)

I only discovered this site less than a month before beginning my travels. Everyone has been very helpful!

Interests

food, wine and friends first- sight seeing and activities second. I've come to realize that after many many travels that I never think back too much on a piece of architecture (although I LOVE architecture) or an activity.

It's all about the people you meet, no matter how "boring" or "exciting" a place may be.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music so much that I can't narrow anything down. I love everything from classic rock to strange electronic, to classical waltzes, to crazy comedy improvisational stuff (see: Frank Zappa:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many but I remember seeing the northern lights in Sweden...not once, but twice!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I only learned about CS a couple weeks before my 2 months trip to Europe but so far I'm blown away. I've been hosted by one family that took me wine tasting in Slovenia, taken on tour by a lovely young lady in zagreb, hung out with a few funny and very cool Italians and it's only been one week to date!!
