About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to open Portals to everywhere in this world, I do this by traveling to locations and making friends, learning the language, learning the culture, the more i know, The easier the portal opening gets :D

ABOUT ME

Hello there,
My name is Door Decorte, my friends call me Isi (my name comes from Isidoor, so isi for short, plus it's easier ;)
I'm currently bartending in De Middenstand in Bruges, which is a really nice restaurant with good food, delicious waffles and good icecream if you want to see it, visit : www.demiddenstand.com for all further info:D
I love traveling, seeing the world, i do origami, read manga and big fantasybooks, watch anime and play world of warcraft in my free time. I love going out with friends to have a drink and a good time. I'm an easy-going person, calm, friendly and always there for anyone. my friends know i'm ready to jump in for them, and so they do that for me too.
Ehm, I don't know what else to say here, so if you want to know more, ask anything you like, i'll answer honestly:D

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life one day at the time, to sometimes suppress the feeling that i'm living in a world of perpetual déja-vû.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll try to be a good guest so I won't smother up the good name of this CS2 project (shouldn't be a problem but still). As soon as i've done my first couchsurfing abroad and i loved it, i'll open my couch for all bruges loving couch surfers as well. That will be the least i can do to support this project

I lived the thai way of life
I've fed a baby tiger and played with them
I lived in the desert of egypt with bedoeïns
kitesurfing at the cote d'azur in france while the sun is setting
climbing in coconut trees to get my own superfresh coconut :D
walking in an ocean, looking down and still see your feet on the bottom.

Teach, Learn, Share

All i can share is language skills, my way of learning culture and languages.
I want to learn more languages especcialy japanese, to improve my hobby: watching anime and reading manga:D
I feel that learning a language gives so much more joy to visiting that country, because speech and understanding that is also a big part of a culture.
it's fun that everyone speaks english, but it's not that good 'cause it makes your experiences much lesser.
