ABOUT ME

We are a couple living in Tignes during winter because we love skiing and life in the mountains! It is so different that the big cities we grew up in! We can't host anyone because of our small appartment but we would be happy to introduce you to our ski station! Coffee, ski, tips for chilling out, we can help you discovering Tignes if you want to! Anyway, HAVE FUN in Tignes! :)

During summer we live in Anglet, French capital of surf (south west of France)! They call it the French California! Our apartment has a couch so maybe we can host you!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, gotta live it intensively! Curious and always in to learn and discover new places, new cultures... Not very original but our philosophy is "CARPE DIEM". (for the ones who don't know, carpe diem is latin and means "live everyday entierely like if it was the last one").

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We enjoy meeting new people from different countries. We are very talkative, very curious and love learning stuff! We are proud and happy to show you our ski resort (winter) and beaches (summer) when people come here and we are very excited when we are visiting new countries! Clement went to Perou and Bolivie in 2011 and Pauline went to Texas in 2005, Canada in 2007 and Argentina in 2010. We want to discover other countries!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have already hosted a few people at our ancient place (in Bayonne, south west of France). We hosted two German girls, Tina and Gina and Thomas from England. Eveytime it was a great experience to discuss about our countries, cultures, opinions, and to party of course!

Interests

Ski, surf, Horses, beach, drinks with friends, chilling, sports, sports, sports, cooking, running, movies, drums, books... Like to go to expositions, interest in fashion and photographies. We are very open-minded people who love being outside, we love the mountains and the ocean.

Music, Movies, and Books

TV shows (desperate housewives, grey's anatomy, Malcom...) movies with ACTION, LOVE, COMEDY. Sports contests (swimming pool, judo, athletics, Winter X games, Ripcurl and Quiksilver pros...) Books : Marc Levy, Anna Gavalda, Katherin Pancol and so many others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

3 years ago I organized a disguised party close to Paris on the railway between midnight and 5 am when I was sure trains would be off and made sure everyone had left before trains were back on! We were maybe 20 people at my party, it was fantastic! We took great pictures!

I'm a big fan of ski off pist and I've done some uncredible paths!

Teach, Learn, Share

Pauline can teach horse ridding and give tips for dogs training and cooking pastries! She needs to learn new recipies for salted stuff, how to speak spanish and she needs advice for scuba diving and the guitar!

Clement can teach surfing, skiing, a little bit of mecanics and massages. He needs to learn to be on time, cooking, taking pictures.
