Hey there!!! I'm an easy-going girl from Barcelona studying 5th year of Medicine. Whenever I don't have exams (which unfortunately it's not that often) I love picking up a cheap flight and discovering new cities, towns, forests or rivers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I usually sleep in cheap hostels where you share bedrooms and bathrooms with other random people and I really like the idea of meeting foreigners while traveling. Some friends of mine recommended me couchsurfing and here I am, willing to try this fantastic project!! It looks so great, I love this mean of traveling where you actually meet locals and interact with them. Plus, since I'm a student it's the best way to travel without spending lots of money so I can save some money for traveling more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: indie/indie rock/rock also catalan pop. I wish I could play an instrument, when I was young I played the piano but all the knowledge has gone away :(

Movies: french movies, their sense of humor is hilarious

Books: since I have a kindle book I can't stop reading random books that I find in amazon which I would have never thought I would like

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling in a Caribbean island of Nicaragua called Corn Island. The huge amount of different bright fishes amazed me! Plus I saw some sharks really close from me which at first scared me but, when I realized that those animals didn't have the intention to hurt me, I swam closer to them and the experience was unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking about politics, nowadays there's an awkward political situation in my country with the conflict between Spain and Catalonia. I'd be really happy to explain you a few things about it and listen to your opinion as well. It's so sad that in 2018 political problems have to be solved by jailing people and banning referendums.

Teach me a few words of your language! It's always useful and enriching knowing a few sentences of different languages. I can teach you some catalan or spanish (which can be really useful because it's one of the languages spoken by more people in the world)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for you!!! I don't eat meat (I do eat fish though) and I can cook you either any typical catalan/spanish dish or international food.
