ABOUT ME

I will be travelling the whole summer, so I'm not able to host at the moment.

I used to live in a house in central Gothenburg together with six other friends. it's great to have the opportunity to be social at any time, yet being able to withdraw to my own room when I feel like being alone for a while. I like having so much contact with other people, they can "mirror" who I am, and it helps me become a better person.
At the moment I have taken one year off from my studies at Electrical engineering at Chalmers university of technology. I sort of "ran into" this education by chance. I was doing an education in horsemanship - including a lot of psychology, communicationskills and leadership, and of course - horses. However I sort of got stuck a few years ago, it didn't feel like I was proceeding much more. So... I thought I had to do something totally the opposite for a while. Engineering was very much the opposite but quite honestly, I thought it sounded veeerrryyy booooring, I had so many preconceptions about it. But, I only intended to stay for half a year and then continue with the horses again with - hopefully - new inspiration. The thing was: once I had started at Chalmers I couldn't help but to admit that it was, indeed, a lot of fun. Many of my preconceptions about the school turned out to be true, but - to my great surprise - the preconceptions about myself were totally false! I suddenly found myself studying maths and electronics 9hrs a day, and liking it! Wow. So I couldn't quit after half a year. Now it's been 2,5years and it's still fun. I'm not sure this is what I will always be doing, but I will continue for as long as I'm happy here. I think if I take one step at a time, my life will find a path that suits me perfect.
Nowadays I'm not so "rigid" in my opinion about the future. It's more like I wake up every day wondering what's going to happen today, with a certainty that it will be a very good day. i'm so happy for that lesson!

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be openminded about all situations and all people I find myself in/with. One of my abilities is to see the positive aspect of every situation.
