I'm Sanne, 26 y/o. I've been living in Leeuwarden for 5 years now. I live in an appartment not too far from the city center, but then again: everything is nearby in Leeuwarden. I'm in a committed relationship with Jeffrey, and one and a half year ago we decided to start living together! Happy days :)
Last December we adopted two kittens, we named them Derp and Koda. And yes, Derp honours her name haha..
I study Leisure Management at Stenden University, which is at 10-min walking distance.
I come from a big family: mom + stepdad, dad + stepmom, 1 biological sister, 3 stepsisters and 4 stepbrothers. I will spare you all of their names ;)
My hobbies are: reading, listening to good music (i like music, not one type of genre in specific), hanging out with friends, spoiling the cats, netflixing, organising events and parties!
What I do for a living on the side: I'm a so called stagemanager at festivals: I make sure artists arrive on time on stage to perform and make sure their every need is met (all blue M&M's and stuff..).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few years back one of my best friends and me went couchsurfing in the south of France and I was suprised it was so nice! I was always a bit freaked out about the idea of crashing at random people's places (can be scary tbh), but it was a great experience.
This summer me and Jeffrey are planning to go roadtripping again. We will depart from Utrecht, go to Berlin, Prague, somewhere in Slowakia, and then on to Croatie. On the way back we want to pass through Italy, France, Belgium and through the south of the Netherlands.. Quite the trip ahead of us!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've tried to break the worldrecord 'the longest live-music concert' by organizing a concert, with non-stop live-music, that lasted for 363 hours (15 days and 3 hours). This was a project I organized for my graduation. I did graduate, unfortunatly, I didn't break the record :( It was a pretty epic try though, the record broke on a technicality, we completed the whole concert.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laugther, good times and stroopwafels. I promise you, you haven't lived if you haven't tried stroopwafels at least once. Look them up and tell me they don't look delicious ;)?
Next to that: I come in a handy package which includes me and Jeffrey. We are very practical, down to earth, social and easy-going.
