Overview
About Me
Lively, a bit chaotic, witty girl with a heart for the outdoors and adventure.
Last year I graduated as a social worker with a specialization in substance-related and psychiatric disorders (super interesting!) and during my education I’ve worked with ex-convicts who suffer from addiction. In my spare time I’m a volunteer on the animal ambulance; I’m a huge animal lover and care lot about the environment and I therefore try to live a sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle :) I crave for new experiences and have the need to shuffle my surroundings every now and then, because I can’t (and don’t want!) to live my life in the same place.
Besides all of the above I’m into photography, reading and learning about other cultures! So I’d be super happy if you could tell me things about your culture or country. Even though I really like to go and visit new places, staying in with a cup of hot tea and having a good conversation about anything makes me very happy too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
All about meeting new people, having a blast, sharing stories and making memories! It’a such a good and easy way to make contact and meet-up with people. Plus, meeting up with a local really boosts a trip!!
Interests
I love travelling, being outdoors, hiking, sports, watching movies, music, exploring, painting, going for a drink, snowboarding, wakeboarding, horse riding, ride my motorbike.. tooooo many things I like to do!! 24 hours in one day just aren’t enough.

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of music! Some of my favorites are Ben Howard, Nick Drake, John Butler Trio, Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder, Bonobo but 60’s/70's/80's music is right up my alley as well.
Movies/series:
Documentaries, thriller, adventure, fantasy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Romania for the third time this year (first time solo though) where I’ve hitchhiked, slept in the forest, went paraglading in the Carpathian Mountains, hung my hammock in the best spots, hiked so much my feet almost fell off and had the time of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m very curious and like to learn new things; a language, a new recipe, a new sport.. just about anything. My didactic skills could be better, but I’m really willing to try and teach others because I’m convinced we all have more knowledge than we’re aware of :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I make the most amazing fudgy brownies (yep, just said it :)).
Besides that: the love for nature, sociability, a drink, good food, adventure.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, United Kingdom
