ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say I know exactly what I want. Which makes me a bit stubborn but also very eager to see and do a lot. I would also say I'm typically dutch. When I've been on a trip I always love to come home to Amsterdam because it's really my hometown. The food, the weather, the people. I just love Amsterdam :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing since this summer. I went to Stockholm and to some places in Holland. Not so much, but loved it every time. It's a great way to travel en meet new people :)

Interests

I study at the Conservatory of Amsterdam for jazz singing and I enjoy it a lot. I just love love music. Ella Fitzgerald, Cannonball Adderley, Esperanza Spalding, Björk, Yann Tierssen (from Amelie) and a lot more. I love traveling, going to new city's I haven't seen, hiking in the mountains and biking through Amsterdam and the rest of Holland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best trips I made was going to Barcelona on my own for a week. It was such an experience to be on my own in an unknown city, and although it was only for a week, I learned a lot there. I went to some jammsessions and had a lot of fun playing with completely new and unknown people.
Furthermore I just love to walk through the mountains. I love the feeling of being somewhere where no car has ever been and looking down on the world.
