ABOUT ME

I'm lively, friendly, easy to talk to, empathic, spontaneous, easily into new things, love writing, music, friends, food, travel, a good cup of tea or milky coffee. And good talks that last until the wee hours. :)

I live in Tampere with my boyfriend, but I also spend a lot of time on the islands (Åland) where I have a second apartment. I prefer to host Couchsurfers there as it is a bigger apartment. If the mister agrees, we might have the occasional sofa to offer even in Tampere..! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started couchsurfing in September 2012 on my trip across Southern Europe and have been hosting people in my island apartment on Åland.

I have mostly had very positive experiences but I was sad to discover that quite many individuals use this wonderful community as a dating service. I am personally not doing Couchsurfing to find romantic flings but to get to know new people and places.

Interests

My passions in life are writing and travel. I also love good old "snail mail" letters and have penpals around the world. Plus I like art, museums and photography.
