About Me
Just moved to Edinburgh with my boyfriend and we're hoping to meet the CS community soon! :)
A bit about myself... I'm a quiet and laid back person that is down to earth. I'm mostly thoughtful, but love to laugh and have a good sense of humour. (I think.)
I'm a typical German, although I'm sometimes not too convinced myself. But I do appreciate punctuality, tidiness, reliability, efficiency and a casual pint of German beer. Haha.
Oh, and even though most people say I'm not, but I really am shy... :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing when I first started traveling on my own in New Zealand. I find it the easiest way to meet people in a foreign place. People from different countries and different cultural background meet up somewhere, have drinks, dinner, go on trips together. Everyone can join, nobody will be excluded for whatever reason. Everyone is welcome to connect with each other - having the same dreams and ambitions, maybe similar travel plans or life goals.
Looking back I can say that the closest friends in my life are the ones I met on Couchsurfing. I'm still in touch with people from all over the world and where I live now, me and my friends still have the Couchsurfing community around us and go to the meet ups every week.

Music, Movies, and Books
Have to admit I love American comedy or drama series and the odd "daily soap".
I like electronic music, mainstream stuff as well as alternative rock and indie music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
New York City.
Walking on the Great Wall in China.
Hot summer Christmas barbecue in New Zealand.
Watching seagulls nicking chips at the beach in Brighton, UK.
Teach, Learn, Share
My passion is teaching German so this offer goes without saying.
My current ambition is to learn and improve my Italian.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love languages and love teaching. I'll be happy to teach you German in exchange for French and Italian. Also my English is pretty decent.
Other than that I can cook, although mostly basic meals. Can do German "Schnitzel" on request though.
I will also bring my colouring book and pencils.
