CURRENT MISSION :

I’m a 24 years old French girl and after working two years as social worker with autistics children, I left my job few months ago, to have enough time to learn how to build my house and how to cultivate my self-sufficient garden.
I also have the dream going to La Gomera since I heard about the Silbo Gomero, a whistled langage from there, in a French song. That is the reason why I (finally!) decided to take my tickets to come !
I’ll arrive on 4th January to Tenerife and leave at the end of March.
During these three months, I really would like to discover the island of La Gomera and its inhabitants, find a teacher of silbo gomero (why not?), follow my learning about gardening, be in contact with the nature…
I already had some little exeperiences of wwoofing and participative work in France and two weeks in Portugal few years ago.
In Portugal, I helped a woman who lived in a wild farm between two villages, maintaining land, removing weeds, planting vegetables, taking water of the source,...
In France, I helped two families who built their ecologic-houses : one in straw and hearth, the other in lime and hemp.
I also helped an old man who lives in north of France and tries to promote agroecology since 20 years.
