ABOUT ME

I have an insatiable curiosity about the world that's driven me to hit the road again - I get restless when I'm in one place for too long! Wherever I am though, I love meeting people and just talking... I think I talk too much. On the other hand, my love of nature means I can lose myself away from people and spend weeks alone without too much difficulty.

PHILOSOPHY

1 - That change is constant and should be embraced, whether or not it seems good or bad at the time, and that we can learn from it to better ourselves and the world.
2 - That people are more powerful than they give themselves credit for, and that we need to love each other to grow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Manchester I used to go to events and meet up with travellers to show them around, now I'm showing up on people's doorsteps with mismatched shoes and a sheepish grin!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazingly positive!!! I've met so many fascinating people and made so many friends; it's shown me whole new sides to the places I visit and opened my mind to new ideas.

I'm interested in anything that I'm not familiar with - I like having new experiences. Otherwise, I like to read, write, cycle, hike, sing and talk.

音乐、电影和书籍

Into the Wild has to be one of my favourite films and I guess the soundtrack is one of my favourites too. I also love Inception, La Belle Verte, The Selfish Giant, The Lord of The Rings, Withnail and I, La Grande Vadrouille...
Shantaram's possibly my favourite book at the moment but I like all sorts - I have pretty broad tastes. I just read A Time of Gifts about a traveller in the 1930s that left me dreaming. :)
My favourite music changes depending on what mood I'm in!

Like I said, I love talking, so if you have an ear for funny or crazy stories then you'll be in good company. I'd like to say 'my charming personality' without sounding too pretentious... :D
