About Me

I love architecture, arts and music. I'm simple, down to earth. You might find me a bit quite but once I get into the vibe, I can be crazy too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I look foward to meeting new people and making friends. I enjoy talking to strangers. I always believe that the best way to understand a new place is through the sharing from a local.

Interests

Hobbies: Collecting postcards, postcrossing, reading, singing, listening to music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide range of music in different languages (English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, Korean, Japanese , Thai and Vietnamese), mainly pop music.

I'm a big fan of horror movies. Again, i enjoyed watching movies from different countries and languages.

The last novel I read was 'The Return' by Hisham Martar. I'm currently reading 'The Garden of the Evening Mists' by Tan Twan Eng. Despite enjoying movies and musics in different languages, I can only read in English, Chinese and Malay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Quit my stable job in Kuala Lumpur and hop on the last train to working holidays in New Zealand. No regret!
2. Bungy jump at the height of 47m in Queenstown, NZ.
3. Completed Tongariro Alpine Crossing in 10 hours.
4. Moved to Saigon.
5. Solo trip to Osaka, Japan for 8 days with a backpack of less than 7kg.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Mandarin and Malay, and Chinese dialects like Hokkien and Cantonese.

I'm learning Vietnamese language, and working hard to polish my command of English. I need more practice to playing guitar and swimming.

I would love to share with you my passion in singing, and also my work experience in practising architecture and construction management.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make quite a decent Vietnamese coffee. If you don't mind, I can sing a little :)
