About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Adventuring. I don't own anything or owe anyone money, so I figure now is the time to get out there, see the world and meet people before I find myself saying oh I can't do that.
ABOUT ME
I haven't updated this in forever!I work at a college, organizing volunteer oppurtunities for the students. It might be the most awesome job ever. I just got back from taking a group on Alternative Spring Break. I love that these 18, 19, 20 year olds impress me everyday. Anyone that has a negative view of the next generation really needs to go volunteer with some college students. They will rock your socks! I'm a gypsy/hippie of the south. I wasn't really in California but all my 18 year olds inform me on a weekly basis that I am. My boss recently called me a lepercaun...
PHILOSOPHY

Music, Movies, and Books
I really liked Star Trek, it surprised me. I enjoy most music. I like hip-hop, r&b and funk to dance to. Prefer mellow rock and folk to listen to.
I love light reads but I devour them so I'm on a mission to read books that you have to savor. Any suggestions are welcome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Roadtripped to Sydney with four of the best traveling companions I've ever had after knowing them for three days. We showed up in Sydney at 2 in the morning. Unbeknown to us, it was LiveEarth week and most hostels were full. Our entire week involved waking up early to go in search of where we would sleep that night, dumping our stuff, doing some outdoor activity, taking a nap, then going out for the evening, then we would do the same thing the next day. It was amazing. Evidently you can find your travel soul mates based on the speed you walk.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have more of the esoteric knowledge than practical skills. Um, I know how to make risotto. I know the basics of sailing and rock climbing and would love to continue to learn and practice with others.
