ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing, fun and humorous person. Which loves socialising and meeting new people, however I know how to respect people spaces and I'm fairly independent so will not take to much space or time from busy people. I've worked in a variety of things, bartender, waitress, cook, receptionist, childcare in an orphanage, hostel receptionist and some i've even forgoteen. I also have a degree in anthropology, which is one of my biggest passions and I believe it gave me a good perspective in the world and human relations/dinamics. At the moment I'm living on the road trying to get more practical knowledge of the world and the different ways people relates to it and to each others. Especially about food and how that conetc us to our surroundings. Basically I'm trying to found out how I can connect both of my biggest passions anthropology( social) and food (from ingredient production to preparation) as a way of life. And obviously at the same time enjoy life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I'm traveling and I would like to meet local people and see the places I visit through their eyes. It would be also really nice if I could meet people which could teach me local cousines ... grandmother's style.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have always had difficulty with the question what's your favourite ..... there're so much to choose from, I find the question limmiting!!
When it comes to music I enjoy a variety of genres, from rock, punck, metal, grunge, bossa nova, MPB, fado ( portuguese traditional music), 80s, funk, classic, drum&bass, minimal, house, transe, and many others that I don't even know how to categorise .... It really depends of the moment and the party... I'm easy and enjoy to go with the flow!
Books wise, well also difficult to point out, but I guess I would say: crime&punishment, war&peace, and ... little prince!
