About Me
ABOUT ME
As a man much wiser than myself once stated, I am thoughtless man's thoughtful man, the serene love kitten of the caring set, the boy they said would never grow up, the best damn lettuce in the whole salad bowl. The underpants I wear tonight, you will wear tomorrow.
Now there are many people who can act, many who can sing, many who can dance, many who can make you laugh, many who can play the kitchen, knit, drive to Formula 3 standard, achieve a grandmaster norm at chess, and spell the word moccasins. Now I for one cannot do any of the above, but I do like to think I have some hidden talent.
I harbor a deep passion for languages and foreign cultures. This has with passing of the time escalated into me dabbling in a number of disciples, from history, religion and economics to psychology, linguistics, martial arts and yoga. I am something of a nerd to the core and will cherish learning something new and bettering myself as a person, as long as that does not include doing hard sums. Or easy sums, come to that matter.
To balance my hippy image, I do possess certain ambition. I abhor nothing like wasting my time in endeavors that do not (in)directly translate into a gain. I am working on my auto discipline and make sure all my hobbies are intellectual or otherwise constructive enough to make me a better person than I was when I woke up.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not really selective as to books - I have a huge personal library and I do not discriminate, I can read basically anything and enjoy the experience equally. I'm a huge snob as to music, I most prefer (German) opera, Wagner is my hero.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have spent my entire life learning languages (this is why I never learned to count).
