Overview
About Me
I like to chat, have nice conversations with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. I love my country, thus l have some good stories to tell. I also like to start projects on different areas. Right now l do gardening at home and help writing stuff for people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Ecuador has a lot to offer, and also lots of challenges to fulfill, so l hope l can help visitors to get to know the country. Our motto is: All you need is Ecuador, because we have 4 regions (4 worlds as you might say): pacific coast, an andean (mountain) region, the most accesible part of the Amazon and the unique Galapagos Islands. So, Quito, the capital, is a nice place to start knowing this country, tho small, with plenty of places to offer.
I'm also on Couchsurfing because l love to travel. This year l went to the US, and l hope to visit different countries, and l think is better to know a place by getting around and staying in local places, rather than in hotels and stuff.
Interests
I plan to write a book, so l look for interesting things to learn, stories to memorize and places to go
- hiking
- mountains
- biking
- renewable energy
Music, Movies, and Books
I am into classic rock and stuff, but l love to discover new music. l love music, even though l can't play any instrument (so far).
I am not much into watching movies on cinemas, but rather to pick a movie to watch it at home. l like movies that make you think or give you a theme for conversation.
Now l'm reading about famine and climate change, but l also love fiction. l don't have a favorite book, yet. I guess the Bible, maybe?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On holiday l like to go to Baños, where there are lots of fun things (biking, bungee, cable cars...). For a more long planned thing l like to climb mountains. l've done Pichincha, Cayambe and Pasochoa. I hope to climb some more, because all mountains here are beautiful. My goal vacation in Ecuador is Cueva de los Tayos. In Spain, some day l hope l can do the Santiago Route.
