About Me

I’ve been travelling for the last year through South America, Center America, South East Asia and I had just arrived to Australia where I am planning to stay for 12 months. I applied for the work and holiday Visa so at least I will try to stay one year and get to know Australia deeply.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I find it is the best way to know a place from a local point of view or even though the host is not originally from that place it is really nice to learn from somebody that is currently leaving at that place and I believe is really nice to share some time with someone that is also open to host travellers and knowing new people.

Interests

I am interested on knowing natural places as beaches, forest or mountains but I also like getting lost on big and not so big cities too.
I like local markets, see live music, knowing different pubs, trying different coffee shops and local food too. I am a big fun of different types of food but I can always eat whatever it is served, the thing I like the most about food is sharing a nice moment with people and sitting on the same table to enjoy a nice time together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fun of music and mostly going to watch live music to different places. In Buenos Aires I went to see the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Roger Waters and Paul McCartney among others. I also find really nice listening to live music shows in small pubs or theatres. I hear a lot of different types of music and I am always open to listen and know new things.

I wasn’t a big fun of books but this last year traveling I was able to find the right time to read. One of my favorites books is “Let my people go surfing” from Yvon Chouinard, the owner and founder of Patagonia (clothing). This books speaks a lot about the balance between job and our private lives but mostly about taking care of the environment and how should we protect the planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had been working in a sailing boat in the border between Center and South America taking backpackers from Colombia to Panama through the San Blas Islands. I sail since I am a little boy but before this job I didn’t realize I was going to be able to receive a salary for doing this thing that I like soo much.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to share with the host my skills for cooking argentinian style, mostly barbecues and also vegetearian style.
I like to share with the hosts my experiences traveling and how nice it is to know people from everywhere while traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like watching and discussing about different things. Music, food, sports(rugby, football, tennis, running).
I am an open guy and I always accept different points of views about things. I am respectful and I also expect people to be respectful to me too. I am always in a good mood and I am an active person.
