Overview
About Me
I like to explore the world in all its diversity, know new people and cultures and interact with them, I consider myself open minded and respectful with others, I hope we can catch up, regards, Santiago
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
An Israeli friend, Emmy, taught me to use it, and I have been using CS mostly for the hang outs, I've met wonderful people and I expect to know a lot more! I have not stayed in others houses but from now on I'll give it a try because I think is a great chance to "experience" and get to know the place one is visiting.
Interests
Explore the world, be thoughtful and sensitive with different people and cultures, learn languages (the best way to understand the culture from my point of view). Work hard, I think that life is a matter of giving and taking, every day is a gate to the world, don't waste it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many books...1984, Beowulf, el Quijote de la Mancha. It would be impossible to complete the list, let's leave it this way.
Movies and series
Kubrick, Wim Wenders, Scorcese, De Palma, Kurosawa...
As usual i'm a fan of GOT.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Start working as a tour guide, I began doing that 5 years ago, thanks to this I've met wonderful people and it gave me the will to travel and learn languages, not too impressive right? But has changed my life for good!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish, I speak it automatically, so don't expect the boring grammar rules! I was just joking, I'll teach you the "rioplatense" variaty, a very funny one that people speak in Uruguay and Argentina! I'm a tour guide in my city, therefore I'm supposed to know a lot about my country ( feel free to ask me, I'd be glad to help you out!). If you come to my city, you can stay at my home, the only disadvantage is that I live 30 away from downtown, but if you don't mind about this, you will be alright.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tips about my country and especially my city Montevideo, you can stay at my place if you wish, just let me know with enough time to organize myself, I'll prepare you to understand Uruguayan culture, which is very similar to the Argentinan but here everything runs smoothly, remember, Uruguay is a tiny country, the smallest in South America with just 3;4 million of inhabitants.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain
Countries I’ve Lived In
Uruguay
