ABOUT ME

I am a 31 years old Colombian/Venezuelan engineer.
In my life, I have been able to live and travel to many places. Some of this includes most of Western Europe Countries, South America and Asia Pacific countries. The experiences I have acquire meeting other people have enriched my life a lot, and have made me believe that intercultural exchange is one of the most interesting activities there are.
I am an open minded easy going man, friendly and curious. I am looking forward to meet people from other places and to get to know their culture.
I love going out for a coffee or a drink, listening to music, trekking, and making friends.
My field of working is energy engineering, specially renewables. I work in biogas to energy projects.

PHILOSOPHY

In order to understand, try to get in the other-one's shoes... Is very hard, I don't expect to follow it 100% (is it possible?), but I think is a good guideline.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and I have also surfed. I have gone to some CS meetings and gatherings: London, Porto, Nantes, Stockholm, Bangkok...
Also I have encountered CS in several parts of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every time has been a good experience. CS people are open minded and respectful. It is great knowing that there is such a great amount of good people out there.

Almost every type of music.
Rock, Progressive, Salsa, Latin, World, etc...
In the evenings I particularly enjoy dancing music, specially salsa and funk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many, the world is amazing!
I think the most amazing thing I have done is backpacking for several months in a row, in particular because of the people and the places I have visited.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know about Mechanical Engineer, Energetic System Engineer and physics. I have practical knowledge in the field of bio-gas.
I can teach to dance salsa, merengue and other Latin American rhythms.
I have travel a lot, and I'm willingly to share my experiences.
Also I speak 3 languages, so I can teach you that as well.

Of course, if you can teach anything about these or other subjects, I would be delighted.
