About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world my comfort zone, immerse in all of it.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in two different countries without both my parents, my father left me with my mother at a young age. Having no brothers or sisters I became very independent and autonomous, but also very close to my mother. When I moved from England to France it was very tough because I had recently realised that I had made my first 'real friends' and to leave them at the tender age of 13 was extremely difficult. I had to re-adapt in France, make new friends, get used to the schooling system, all during the turbulent period of adolescence.
Since that moment I have never looked back and adore travelling, meeting new people, learning their languages and discovering their cultures.
I am mature, organised, honest, kind, thoughtful, adaptable and will immerse myself in a culture as soon as I arrive in the country.
PHILOSOPHY
Travelling broadens the mind.
Choose life, whatever it means for you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of couchsurfing and hope that one day when I will be in a position when I have my own house, that I will be able to share what hopefully my hosts will share with me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I signed up to CS before I went to Chile to do a work placement year abroad as part of my studies . I have since surfed on couches in Chile and Argentina. Thanks to the network, I have been fortunate to meet people from all over the world!
Every experience has been with someone completely different which I find incredibly awesome: we're all being brought together but our journeys are still so different.
I love immersing in an unknown culture, social life, language and cuisine, and every experience has brought surprises, long may it continue!
Interests
Naturally curious and adaptable, I would love to receive your passion regarding your interests, regardless if we share them or not.
In no particular order, mine are:
Rugby, rugby refereeing, football, swimming, cooking, training, staying in shape, walking, trekking, photography, music, writing, learning languages, wine-tasting, barbeques, history, economics-politics-sociology-life discussions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Aged 16 I took part in an exchange between my International school in France and one in Paraguay. I stayed with my host family for two months, it was an experience which forged me as a person and exposed me to amazingly strong experiences. During a placement year in Chile, I was able to go back to Paraguay - this time with my mother who had come from France to visit - and visit our family in Asunción. This was so great because Josué and I had met each other's relatives, but they had never met each other. It was one of the best weeks!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am unsure as to what I could bring to my hosts, perhaps cooking them a nice Mediterranean meal? That would be an honour!
Also, in my International Business studies we have focused on Hispanic-countries' histories and their cultures, I would thoroughly enjoy gaining experience from my host as to what their opinions are on the political, economic, social and other various-themed debates, and perhaps share my views.
We could teach each other languages, local expressions, and share the lessons we have learnt down the years thanks to travelling <3
