About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be present to all the wonders the Universe has to show NOW

ABOUT ME

What friends would say about me: Pablo is an easy-going guy. He is truly passionate about life and dedicates himself to spread his love for life, consciousness, and a healthful, sustainable way of living. While he used to want to change the world, he now realices everything is perfect as is, interconnected with everything else and no longer in need of fixing. He believes in spiritual awakening, but not in religion (though he respects other peoples beliefs and that not everyone might see the world the way he does).

Pablo is a vegan Chef. He Is commited to showing that healthy eating DOES NOT mean giving up the pleasures of delicious food. Food just needs to be prepared consciously (and hopefully with care and love).

PHILOSOPHY

LIFEISGOOD or as we'd say in 'spanish': LAIFISGUD!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I can offer a bedroom, two mattresses, actually. Its a vegetarian house, so please dont bring meat here. Its a friendly household, perfect if you want to escape downtowns' crazyness for a while.
We'd appreciate if you take the time to share a bit more of who you are, what your life is about and what you are willing to sharewith us on your requests (smile can be enough). We are eager to learn from you, what can you offer?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I guess the best part of the CS experience is sharing. So we prefer having people over who are willing to share themselves, rather than just closing yourself in the room as you would in some hotel. Yet all is good anyways..

Interests

What really grabs my attention is creativity. I feel inspired by people who have gone out of their ways, out of the comfort zones to do something different, to create something new, to improve ways to do things.. Creativity that helps us be more conscious of ourselves, of our nature, of how we can improve ourselves relly inspires me.
I love spending time in nature. I love what connects me to nature and will always choose that which is clensing, clearing, energising, revitalizing, fulfilling, etc.
I guess my cooking reflects all that was mentioned above: i cook vegan, nutricious, healthy, light, creative and delicious food (wont stop until its truly delicious:) ). I can talk about food for days long.
I enjoy gardening, movies, frisbie (ultimate), traveling and all that is healing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just love to learn new things. So i'll always end up with movies, music and books that inspire. I enjoy fantasy and artsy stuff, specially if it carries a message other than human drama

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Changing my mothers eating habits to more conscious and healthfull ones made such an impact in her life that she ended up sponsoring the Red Monkey - a fabulous vegan restaurant (to be) in La Paz. She never believed food could affect that many aspects of life until she tried it herself. She now wants more people to experience what she did

I help build a community house in San Francisco, CA. I learned the values of sharing and how far we can get when we help oneanother. Living there changed my life.

Also in SF I got to see that it is possible to bring the sacredness of life into your everyday life, particularly into work. At Cafe Gratitude (where I got the privilege to work for a year) business is sacred, so people are encouraged to be present, to realize that we are creators of our own experience and as such, we can choose a more connected, empowered life and atittude. It seemed impossible to me at the time to have actual happy coworkers, peoplewho care more about the service itself than by their remuneration, BUT IT CAN BE DONE! I've seen it. And I hope the Red Monkey can get there as well.

And most importantly, I got to fall in love with the world. The kind of love that is all accepting and freeing... And the best days will always be the one that bring me back to this feeling
