I'm originally from Tucson. Honorably served 10 years in the United States Air Force in which I had the honor of serving with several awesome people from around the world. I went to the UoPX for about a year studying for a Bachelors of Science in Human Services. I decided to change my major to Communications. I am divorced with 3 children that live with my ex-wife in Phx. They are why I work so hard. I work as a courier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, network and collaborate, build relationships. I'd rather put the funds toward helping a family or friend out or buying ingredients to cook a meal or two with someone rather than put it in some corporations pocket. It's all about people helping people! A friend of mine mentioned this to me but until recently decided to give it a shot. My car is comfortable but it's getting old and my neck and back don't like it but I do what I have to, to get the job done. I'm currently aspiring to create a greater future for myself and my children. My children are my motivation.

Interests

Open minded. Not biased to anything except sky diving lol something about jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft that bothers me lol probably due to my Aircraft maintenance years in the Air Force. I like socializing and trying new things, going new places. A lot of people can say that they are living but have they really lived?

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, movies and personal development books. I just watched Live, Die, Repeat. Tom Cruise doesn't seem to age! I love all types of music from oldies to EDM. Books are good brain food. I recently started Stephen Coveys 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Great stuff!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned a lot in my time that I could teach or share. I am also open minded and like to learn new things, share stories, coexist. I understand in order to be accepted into someone's home that I have to build credibility. If anyone can help me as far as references, maybe we can meet and get to know each other over a meal of the day or a beverage of your choice? After all I can type about myself all day here but actually experiencing someone in person is so much better! With my foreseen travels in place I would like to use this concept of people helping people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I have a good running vehicle to get you around. I am great at conversing. I like to think of myself as good company. I have a lot to offer. I'm mechanically inclined. I have a limited assortment of tools in my vehicle. I like helping people. So when I learned about surfers I was glad to know something like this exists. It gives me the opportunity to help others.
