About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be the very best, like no one ever was.

ABOUT ME

I always find it difficult to describe myself, but I'll try. I was born in one of the most beautiful places on this amazing planet: Hawaii. I'm quick with a sarcastic jab, but also with a word of kindness or encouragement. I thrive on theoretical/metaphysical conversations, but I can also appreciate a good fart joke. I believe that it's necessary to see how others live and think to really understand ourselves.

PHILOSOPHY

Love one another, and respect that which is greater than yourself.

I live to deepen my understanding of the universe, especially this crazy aberrant experience we call Life. I live to play my part in Love's divine game on this planet.

Interests

Music (I play a little guitar as well)
Hiking/exploring
Languages
Science, but especially biology (all forms of life amaze me)
The ocean
Outer space
Pretty much the entire universe, it's a wild place!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Everything from Atmosphere to Zebrahead. I'm always up to listen to something new.

Movies: I love sci-fi and comedy, so Serenity is a given. I like quirky comedies like I Heart Huckabees and Kung-Pow.

Books: Mainly sci-fi/fantasy (Heinlein, Asimov, Tolkien, Lukyanenko), but any well-written non-fiction will probably suck me in too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving over Oahu's north shore.

Watching triple rainbows form in the skies above the Kalalau trail.

Roman Candle fights on a beach in Ensenada

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what to offer here, but I'm sure anyone I meet will learn something from me, just as I would learn something from them.

If you want to learn a few guitar chords, or a smattering of words in different languages, or various random facts that you'll probably never need; I'm your man.

Countries I’ve Visited
