About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to buy glasses to see better

ABOUT ME

Born in Sarajevo back in the days when Tito was big and strong. Then an ugly war erupted, that made me flee to Denmark where I've lived most of my life. I'm curious and caring, however, I suffer from an incurable disease called: wanderlust

This brought me to South and Central America.. Later North America and subsequently Asia. When this wasn't enough I tasted a small part of Africa, the Cape Verde islands, that aroused my appetite for this magnificent continent. I've lived in Istanbul where I fell in love.. In love with the city's smells and sounds, churches and mosques, above all the faces of the people and the goodness that continually confirms me exists in this, at times, brutal world.

PHILOSOPHY

That's life and then you die

Interests

traveling (obviously), laughing, dancing, having good conversations as well as going to the hamam, opera and theatre. Cinema is a big passion, my faithful place of refugee. I'm addicted to cheese, olives and tabasco and I don't mind solitude. My biggest fascination is the term 'culture' and I like digging into the concept and deconstructing the socially constructed. I have many questions and few answers.

I saw a woman giving birth on a boat on the Mekong River. It took her 10 min. Sometimes I wonder if she named the kid Mekong. Tough lady anyhow.
