CURRENT MISSION Drive and teach meditation around the country "The heart is my temple and the brain is my map." ABOUT ME I am a Buddhist monk from Sri Lanka. I have been a monk for 20 years, since 11 years old. I moved to the United States six years ago and been working with the Blue Lotus Buddhist temple in Woodstock IL. I am a spiritual adventurist. I love teaching meditation and learning from others. Currently, I go to school; my goal is to pursue a degree in neuro psychology. After my 85 days of silent retreat last fall I've desided to drive around the country and teach meditation and meet new people. I am a new age monk. I look at Buddha's teachings in a broad perspective. I don't know all the answers, but I am inspired by everything I know. I am very simple. PHILOSOPHY Life is simple, we make it complicated. Suffering is optional, if we look close enough and understood why we suffer. Spirituality is a big part of human existence and we can make it fun and adventures being open minded. All we need is love and closeness!
