I’m an Irish-American college student, currently studying to get my bachelors in fine art with a double concentration in sculpture and painting. If it means anything to you I am an ENFP! I spend a lot of my time socializing—meeting new people is my favorite pass time, next to experiencing life with them. I’ve traveled through Europe and have lived in short-term in Northern Ireland before, I’ve spent most of my life in Southwestern Ohio. I have always felt a nomadic calling from within me. I’m a people person and I love meeting unique and interesting humans! I also am a 4th generation tarot reader, I practically bring my deck everywhere. I am into fashion, traveling, dancing, clubbing, partying, nature, video games (GC and PlayStation), dungeons and dragons, anime, art, and so much more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’d like to think of myself as a cockroach. I’m trying to get around as cheaply possible, trying to live minimally when I can. But also because I have this overwhelming need to see the world. Learning about cultures that are distant to mine is also a rewarding and welcomed experience for me! Experience is somewhat spiritual to me, experiences of all kind are welcome. I have a knack for meeting a unique person too.

Books- Kafka on the Shore, Freakanomics, Ways of Seeing, Stargirl, The Scarlett Letter, Brave New World, Persepolis, Catcher in the Rye. I don’t often read novels I’m more of a information kind of gal. I love the occasional poetry; I am a big Allen Ginsberg fan, I have many hand written annotations of his works. But truth be told I find it hard to sit down and read.

Once when I was at the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, I decided to go off trail and climb down a small cliff and saw beautiful rock formations and rock pools. (Check album)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a classically trainer painter and sculptor! I can share my knowledge of art history, art philosophy, and show you trick about how to really visualize colors (sounds strange but we often take our surrounds for granted, You could truthfully spend hours breaking up colors in objects). I can also show people the basics of making clay sculptures and I have some rough knowledge of construction of sculptures. Like said before, I’m a 4th generation tarot card reader, I am willing to give you a read or teach you the basics of tarot reading. I’m also big on fashion—take me shopping and I’ll help you find unique pieces for your closet. I can never get enough of recreating myself! Other than that I can teach you some minor things like Dayton slang, show you new movies, tell you some about where I’m from (Northern Ireland), some personal wisdom, and some random facts—that sorta thing. I’d love to share new experiences with people I’d love to go to the library, geocaching, playing video games, clubbing (I’m into drag), and etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, lots of conversation— I’ll buy us some drinks or good tea. Teach you about art, Hell, if there’s a museum I’ll point out things you may have never seen in a painting before. I’ll read your tarot if interested. I’m a fan of cooking so I could cook for/with you! Also if you play dungeons and dragons, I’d be down to play a one shot!
