ABOUT ME

My name is Irene and I live in Milano Italy. I'm a student at the university of Milan. I study veterinary. I like reading, climbing, running and cooking. I'm vegetarian, wannabe vegan, but I don't mind if you eat meat or fish while you are using my couch, or I could cook you a nice vegetarian meal. I live with my mother and a dwarf rabbit in a flat. It has a nice living room in which my couch is located. Sometimes there are also a dog and a cat, they live with my dad but sometimes he takes them here.

PHILOSOPHY

I like meeting new people and new cultures because I believe that is an enormous way of personal enrichmnent.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer my couch and I meet people traveling in my area. I have taken time to write everything you need to know to have a good stay at my house. I don't know many things about turistic life in Milan so if you get to know anything useful for a turist (museum passes, reduction or so on) that I don't know or have any suggestion to make about surfing at my house you can let me know and I'll add it so it'll be useful for the next surfers.

The couch is located in the living room which my mom likes to have free so I can host very few times when she's home. Usually she cannot stand more than 1 surfer at month.

We are here to get to know each other and that's why I believe in "quality" and not "quantity" when surfing, also because an hostel cost 15€ not 150€.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I like every kind of fiction books, as long as the plot interest me. I'm an omnivorous :-) I read non fiction books about animals.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

I've been on the top of Mount Sinai when I was having an holiday in Sharm el Sheikh and that was really a great experience. I have run the Zermatt Marathon, 1940 m disl uphill.
I have been to the highest Mountain Hut in Europe at 4500m on Mount Rosa.

Ucz innych, ucz się sam, udostępniaj

I can teach you how to do decopuage and other creative stuff with scrap art. As I do running and ciclying we could go running or cycling together in Milan. I can teach also Italian. I would like to practise Dutch and Spanish. Of course, I can teach Italian too, it's my mother tongue!
