About Me

I am a creative person who is drawn into the world by the arts and travel. I want to see and hear it all.
I was in Royal Canadian Air Cadets for 6 years and retired there when I was 18 as a flight sergeant.
I am the oldest of 5 kids :)
Every year I go to the Fanexpo Comic Con in Toronto. I also started going to Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) as an industry professional which has allowed me to meet so many people!

My favourite quotes:
"Do the things you think you cannot do."
"What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"
'Life is what happens to you when you are making other plans.'

I live for the memories. Being rich has absolutely nothing to do with money.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It seems I haven't been active as regularly as I would like however I definitely want to meet people through this online community. One day when I am more settled (and not living in a bachelor apartment) I would like to host people too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the wonderful experience of couchsurfing on 3 couches on my trip to Europe. One in Paris, Rome, and then in Vienna. All of which have been fantastic hosts. Everyone is so openly caring towards one another, its really a new world that this site is creating.

Interests

Outdoors. Travel. Lot and lots of Movies. Music. Writing. Reading. Expanding my theatre experiences. Writing. Shakespeare. Site Seeing. Dressing up (Halloween is my favourite holiday). Anything creative.

I have started reading lots of plays and Shakespeare (as part of my career calls for it). But I have fallen in love with the ideas and the stories that are written.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a certified Survival Instructor (through Air Cadets)- How cool is that!!!
I went swimming with the dolphins, sharks, and sting rays in Dominican.
Last year I did my first feature film on a zero budget (it is in post production).

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to think I know a lot about Canada. I've seen most of it and lived in Ottawa- the capital. I'm handy out doors and creatively. I know a lot about movies- its my one addiction.
I want to learn how to speak Japanese or Italian. I am also interested to learn Latin.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For my host in Paris I brought him a Tim Burton film he had trouble finding at the time.
I can share stories or movie knowledge. I can cook although I am uncertain of what "Canadian" foods would be. I like to share little tokens of appreciation as well. Mostly I like to share company.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Dominican Republic, France, Italy, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
