ABOUT ME

Uruguayo que quiere su tierra y que quiere hacer conocer lo mejor de su país a otros, así como intentar conocer lo mejor de otros países y gente con otras historias de vida. Proyecto de actor, aunque ahora teniendo un año musical, con algo de Flamenco y probando con la guitarra. Ciclista urbano e iniciándome como ciclista viajero.

PHILOSOPHY

Tratando de construirme y reconstruirme siempre que es necesario, con la intención de sentirme libre donde sea que me toque estar, o con quién. No siento que todavía tenga que echar raíces, más bien tomar riesgos y seguir mis principios, como una forma de encontrar mi lugar o lugares en el mundo, y la gente con quien compartirlo.

Always trying to build and rebuild myself when necessary, brick by brick, in order to feel free no matter where I am or with whom. I don't feel like growing roots right now, so it's all about taking risks and fighting for my beliefs. It seems a fair way of finding my place or places, and those people to share what I've got to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Soy nuevo en CS, aunque he tenido la oportunidad de encontrarme con un puñado de CSurfers, que me animaron a engancharme en esta movida.

Although new at CS, I have already met a bunch of CSurfers who encouraged me to embark on this journey

Interests

Gran cinéfilo, aunque últimamente en baja actividad. Amante de los idiomas, actualmente arrancando con Francés. Dentro de la Biología, me interesa la botánica, el comportamiento animal, la evolución y las neurociencias. Amo las diversas manifestaciones culturales y artísticas, y las considero tan vitales como el pan de cada día. Evito mirar TV. Hace algunos años que estoy incursionando en el mundo del teatro y la danza, pero el día sólo tiene 24hs, por lo que voy a paso lento .

Quite a cinemaholic, though recently in low activity. A language lover, wanting to learn French and German, but some people say life is too short to learn Deutsch. Within Biology, what I'm currently studying, I'm into Botany, Animal Behaviour, Evolution and Neurosciences. I love almost any form of genuine artistic or cultural manifestation (with some obvious exceptions), which I consider quite as vital as our daily bread. I avoid TV. Since some years ago I'm a wannabe actor and dancer, but you know, the day has no more than 24hs!

En cine intento evitar el circuito comercial y acceder a películas de diferentes nacionalidades y épocas que aporten a una mirada más global o a una estética particular. Algunos de mis directores preferidos: Peter Greenaway, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Woody Allen, Akira Kurosawa, Emir Kusturica, James Thiérrée, Charles Chaplin, etc. De música prefiero más los géneros de rock aunque también la música popular latinoamericana. En inglés me cuelgan bandas como Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Pink Floyd, Simple Minds, Radiohead, David Bowie, Simple Minds, Nirvana. Argentinos como Soda Estereo, Spinetta, Charly García. Brasileros como Cazuza, Legiao Urbana. Músicos uruguayos: Fernando Cabrera, Sylvia Meyer, Eduardo Darnauchans, Dino, Zitarrosa, etc.
