About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hitchhiking a convertible

ABOUT ME

I love peaches; they taste good, they smell good, they look good. I can't really climb on trees, even if I try pretty often. Apart from that, I'd say I'm a curious individual, always open to new experiences, cultures and people. That's what couchsurfing is for me : meeting the unknown upfront. I try to not be scared of anything and experience the craziest things possible during my trips. I'm impulsive, perfectionnist, full of energy and I always try to be positive.

In my daily life, I drink beer, I have a million of projects at the same time (literature-related or cinema-related), I'm an editor for Panthères rouges (a feminist project; https://www.facebook.com/pantheresrouges/) and I'm co-directing Open mic, a documentary film about poetry open mic nights in Quebec (https://www.instagram.com/openmicdocu/). I'm also doing my master in literature about those poetry communities.

As a host, I try to be as accomodating as possible, but I don't want to visit again and again the same touristic attractions; I prefer to show the more underground parts of my city : artistic coffee shop, street art spots, unusual bars, unordinary places, art events, etc. And I'll also adapt myself to you : if you don't want to socialize, we won't talk; if you want to spend your stay on your computer, good for you; if you want to go out, I'll make you meet some new faces; etc. My only prerogative is that you don't leave your things lying around and that you clean your dishes ;)

PHILOSOPHY

To laugh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am someone who always get into extraordinary, weird and sometimes discouraging situations. I have an endless supply of them - it is my main and defining characteristic : my friends find me entertaining. Maybe I could tell you some more in person!

---

My friend was brewing some tea. While he was talking to me, he catched fire.

---

Once, my friend (the redhead on my profile picture) and I went to help some friends moving in their new appartment. They weren't there when we arrived at the place. We were a wee bit impatient and we openend the window to get in. When Marie-Pier had her leg in the room, we found a guy we didn't know and I told him : « What the fuck are you doing here?! Who the hell are you?! » And he told us : « Eh... It's my room... ».

Then, he gave us some beer and asked our phone number to go swim in the river someday.
