About Me

I’m from the US and settled in France for a few years to pursue an engineering degree. I have an extremely wide range of interests, so there's a good chance I'll have something in common with any host/traveller I meet. I love good conversations, meeting new people, and exploring. I consider myself to be rather open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people and gaining alternative perspectives and insight on ideas. I think it is so valuable to meet the real locals of the countries one visits and look forward to any and all cultural exchanges.

Interests

I danced semi-professionally for a couple of years after college, focusing on ballet and modern dance. Food is a centerpiece of my life, as I am vegan, but I promise I pass no judgments on your habits. I like reading fantasy novels when I find the time, and I also read some inspiring books in college for my religion degree. I will be happy to give a good at most sports, despite not being well-versed in some.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy quite a bit of music. Some of my favorites are technical death metal and progressive instrumental stuff. I’m always interested in hearing new bands.

I like fantasy novels as well as select non-fiction- typically regarding science or philosophy.

I’m not much of movie person, but I’m usually pleased with whatever the people around me put on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Commit to living in a country (France) for 6 years when I’ve never been to it before, I suppose.

The most majestic thing I’ve ever witnessed was a yak galloping across the snowy Himalayas.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can’t do these things without other people, which is why community is so important. Never stop growing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Thoughtful conversation and insights, a helping hand for any tasks that my need to be accomplished, and enthusiasm.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
